Well done to the U16 and half Camogie teams who took part in the Munster Blitz in Kilfinnane today. Two teams were entered in the competition. The first team out were unlucky not to qualify from their group despite some strong displays, and lost by only small margins in their games.

Our second team to play won their group after two hard fought wins over Croom B and Scoil Pol. The semi final against Croom A was a slow starter and we were 4 points down at half time. A strong second half saw us draw level and force extra time where we powered to a one point victory.

However, the extra time proved draining as the the girls then had a straight turn around for the final against Killaloe. Pallas were only down 2 goals at half time, but Killaloe pulled away in the second half and ran out worthy winners.

Well done to all the girls involved in both teams. The positive displays today means we will drive on now to the Munster and Limerick Championships with great confidence! (9 photos)
