Munster PPS TUS Corn Risteard Uí Mhathúna Final – SCC vs CBS Mitchelstown- Pics

Great support from past pupils, family members, students and staff for our U19 Munster Final hurlers in Kilmallock today. In the 1st half, Pallas started winning the throw in and in the first 2 mins got 2 frees taken by Davy Fitz sadly no score from these. After 5 mins Ciaran McMahon scored the first score of the game giving Pallas the lead. Shortly after Mitchelstown scored from a free. John Murray earning Pallas a free which Sean Hartigan takes and scores. Joe fitz made an unreal save to block a goal. Jamie Behan got a free taken by Davy and he scores bring Pallas to a 1 point lead shortly after Sean Hartigan scored another point. Mitchelstown CBS took the lead but Barry Adams scored with the half time score being 0-5 Pallas to 0-6 Mitchelstown.
Mitchelstown scored the first point in the second half bring them to a 2 point lead. after hard work and getting around the other teams back line the boys worked together as team and Sean Kavanagh finished it by scoring a point closing the gap. Hugh Maher won Pallas free, taken by Sean Hartigan and he scores yet again. Unfortunately Mitchelstown scored a goal to increase their lead. Sean Hartigan takes another free and scores. John gets a free taken by Joe. Conor caught the ball and won a free which was taken by Davy and he scored. After all their hard work the boys sadly couldn’t get ahead again and sadly lost. A gallant fight to the end!
