Another day on the road for our Minor and Junior Boys Basketball on 9th February, we travelled to Limerick City to face LETSS and Coláiste Íde & Iósaef in both ages.
Our Minor Boys got the show on the road with a fantastic nail biting win against LETSS. 20-19 was the final score here with our boys showing brilliant resilience to come away with the victory. Next up was Coláiste Íde & Iósaef. Unfortunately we were well and truly beaten in this encounter by a far superior team. A final score of 47 – 16 in this game. But with one win today our boys look in good position to qualify from the group. 2 more games to go!
Our Junior boys had only the one game to face which was against Coláiste Íde & Iósaef. 2 teams with fantastic players on both sides battled it out for 4 tough quarters. Thankfully it was our boys who came out on top with a final score of 50-32. Our Junior boys currently sit top of the group table with Listowel and Mungret to play in their final games.
Well done to all the boys involved and their excellent commitment to date.
