We are all very proud of Fr Vinh’s achievement to be Ordained as a priest here at Pallaskenry. We are particularly honoured that he chose our school to take his vows and give his first mass to our school community. In doing so he has made history in our school. The last priest to be ordained in this school was in 1978, Fr Michael Ross. We are grateful to all of our Salesian priests here in Salesian Secondary College who supported Vinh leading. I would like to thank our teacher musicians, Paddy O’Neil our student choir, and Tina Ronan Hynes for playing piano and for coordinating the the music for this service. Thank you also to Marie Kelly for decorating the Church and our caretaking staff for preparing the school grounds.
