Dear Parent/Guardians & Students,
Killary
The bus for the Killary trip will depart school on Monday at 9am. There will be no school for any student not travelling.
Students will stop in Galway for lunch on the way up or they can bring a packed lunch.
All other meals will be supplied onsite. If students want to bring snacks they are more than welcome as there is no shop nearby, Killary run a small tuck shop onsite.
As part of the Killary Adventure centre policy on mobile phones, they store them in a safe onsite, this is to allow students enjoy the experience and become closer as a group. Students will have access to phones in the evening after dinner for one hour. No pouches will be necessary for the trip.
Policies around substances apply as in school, so if any students are found with any substances including Vapes parents will be phoned to collect their child.
The bus will return back to school at approx 4.30 on Wednesday.
Junior Cert Results
Junior cert results will be available next Wednesday, 8th October. We will hand out results to students when they return home from Killary.
Students can also access the results on the online portal, a letter explaining this has been given to students today.
Any student not travelling to Killary can collect results from 3pm on Wednesday or they are welcome to call when students arrive home from Killary.
We will celebrate students as a school community on Friday with some treats.
Kindest Regards,
Colin Ryan
