Dear Parent/Guardian,
Hope your son/daughter has settled into the first few days of Transition Year.
Just a few important updates.
1. As mentioned previously the cost (€240) for the Killary Trip (5th to 7th Oct) now appears in the shop section of the school app.
This needs to be paid by Monday 21st Sept to secure a place on the trip for your son/daughter.
2. Work experience dates are finalised.
Block 1 – 19th to 23rd Oct
Block 2 – 8th to 12th Feb
Block 3 – 5th to 9th Apr
3. The optional cultural trip abroad after Easter has not been finalised yet and we will confirm in October. As with the school tour companies policy there will be a short turnaround on the deposit (approx. €250) to secure your place.
4. The students will take part in induction activities outside tomorrow here in school. PE gear is requested to be worn and please bring lunch.
5. We will send the TY Calendar early next week so people can see what is booked.
