Dear Parent/Guardian & Students,
5th and 6th year students will be attending the College Open Day on Thursday 15th October 2026. The bus will be leaving the school at 8.30am sharp and we will be back in time for the end of school at 4pm. There will not be any stops on the way home or staying in the colleges for a lift home from parents. All students are expected to return on the bus that they went on. Full uniform is required for the day.
I will be going around to classes with a list so students can indicate whether they want to go to TUS or MIC in the morning. Everyone is going to UL in the afternoon. If I them in class please have them email me their preference. If I don’t hear from them I will allocate them a college to attend.
Buses will be divided by class groups only there is absolutely no changing buses
The payment for the trip, €13.50 is on the app and must be paid if your son/daughter are intending on going.
If they are not attending please let me know so I can remove them from the list.
Kindest Regards,
Gráinne Keane
Guidance Counsellor
