A wonderful opportunity for a group of our students who are currently in Malta attending EuroBosco 2026 , an international gathering of the Salesian family from across Europe.
The theme of this year’s event is Caring, Connecting & Creating: The Salesian Way to Youth Wellness.
At today’s opening ceremony, students had the opportunity to hear an address from Omar Farrugia, Malta’s Minister for Youth and Wellbeing , who spoke about the importance of supporting young people’s wellbeing and creating opportunities for them to thrive.
Experiences like EuroBosco offer so much more than a trip abroad. They give our students the opportunity to meet young people from different countries, experience new cultures, develop confidence and independence, and build friendships beyond the classroom.
It is also a fantastic opportunity for our students to experience the wider Salesian community, share ideas and develop a greater understanding of the values of friendship, inclusion, respect and looking out for one another.
We are delighted that our students have the opportunity to represent Salesian Secondary College at such a worthwhile international event.
A fantastic experience and one that reflects our own school ethos – students are at the heart of everything we do. 💙
