Dear Parents and Students of Salesian Secondary College,
As we continue to enhance our VSWARE school facility for keeping records, I am pleased to inform you of an important update regarding Student Behaviours.
Following the Mid-Term Break, we will be extending access to parents to the teacher comments through the Behaviour section of the school app on VSWARE. This initiative aims to foster greater transparency and communication between teachers, parents, and students.
For parents, this means you will now have the opportunity to view both positive and constructive notes provided by teachers directly on your VSWARE app. This enables you to stay informed about your child’s progress and any areas that may require attention. Should you wish to discuss any concerns or observations further, you are encouraged to reach out to the student’s yearhead for assistance.
As for students, it’s important to note that only notes recorded after the February mid-term of 2024 will be visible to parents. It is important for students to be mindful of their behavior in class, as any instances of poor behavior will be documented by your subject teacher and made visible to your parents. Positive comments will also be accessible, highlighting achievements and commendable efforts.
We believe that this initiative will promote accountability, support, and open dialogue within our school community. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.
