School management, staff and guests gathered at Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel and Spa, Adare for the SSC Charity Lunch on Sunday, 7th May. There was a Prosecco reception with music by Paddy O’Neill and the Fadas, followed by a fashion showcase by Aisling Maher Boutique and a four course luncheon. Juliette O’Connell, Breast Cancer Ireland outreach coordinator, addressed the gathering sharing her experiences and expertise. The day finished to the sounds of Kevin McCarthy in the hotel bar. It was a hugely successful and enjoyable day, both raising awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Ireland. Funds raised are being finalised and a cheque will be presented to the charity at a later date by Ms. Hogan, Ms. McMahon and the Charity lunch committee of students. Thanks to all who were involved or supported to make it such a successful and enjoyable day!
