Congratulations to Emma Ryan (4th Year) and Eilbhe Cunneen (3rd Year) who were part of the Limerick Celtics team who were crowned U16 Girls All‑Ireland Club Championship (AICC) Premier Division champions in Gormanston on Sunday.
Limerick Celtics edged out Dublin Lions in a thrilling final that went right down to the wire and into overtime. Emma made a crucial impact late in the game, scoring a clutch three‑pointer with just under two minutes remaining in regulation to force extra time. With the pressure at its highest, she followed this up with five more points in overtime, including another superb three‑pointer, helping to secure the All‑Ireland title.
A fantastic achievement for Emma, Eilbhe, and all their teammates—well done to everyone involved!
