Yesterday our U14 boys rugby team, made up of mainly 1st year students took part in a Munster Rugby organised Blitz in Bruff RFC.
The entire squad played great with too many outstanding performers to name. It was great to see the efforts of the past 2 months training paying off on the pitch. We played 4 games against more experienced opposition, winning 1 game against Thomond CC, drawing a very hard fought match against a stubborn St. Anne’s and only narrowly losing against CBS Nenagh and Kilfinane.
Well done to all players, coaches and assistant coaches, there is another U14 blitz scheduled for the 26th January so we will be even better prepared for that one.
