U16 Boys Basketball

Well done to our U16 Boys who came out on top once again this Friday vs LETSS. Different opposition, same result. A slow cagey first quarter paved the way to what can only be described as an explosive 2nd quarter. Shot for shot saw us come out slightly on top with a 40 vs 33 point lead. The boys continued with this shooting form in the 2nd half where they continued to rack up the points. Final score saw us winners on a scoreline of 66 – 46

U19 Boys Basketball

Second game of the day was our U19s vs LETSS also. Having met several times over the previous years and a lot of players playing with and against one another at club level, there was a lot of familiarity on the court. We failed to get on top of this game from the get go and we’re constantly chasing down a lead. A fantastic 2 quarters saw us close the gap to 3 but just fell short of the victory in the end. A courageous display saw our boys lose out on a scoreline of 43 – 49 in the end. Another day out where everyone represented themselves and the school tremendously well. 

Basketball takes a short break as exam week approaches and the boys apply their skills to the classroom. Well done to everyone involved.
