The Tiny House Project for Wildlife

This week, 10 TY teams took part in our one day challenge: The Tiny House Project for Wildlife organised by the Construction and DCG department.

In one day, students had to prototype and build a house with recycled materials for a wildlife animal or insect. Each team (10) had a particular animal/insect from our countryside to research over the last few days. At the end of the day, each team had to present their research and their project finished to a jury. Teamwork, meeting the brief, research, functionality of the house, aesthetics, upcycling and presentation skills were assessed. The winning team was Alexander Kaiser, Shane Costello and Conor Lavan.

Bravo to all!

Mr McGreal and Mr Geaney.
