Dear Parents / Guardians and Students,
We are very excited to see you all return next week.
Start Dates and Times
1st Year:
You will start next Thursday, 31st August from 9 – 4.00pm. Our TY mentors spent today preparing for your arrival. They will take good care of you.
Don’t worry about bringing in all your books: just pack a pen, a copy and your lunch we’ll see you right. You will be brought through your timetable on Thursday, so you can plan when to bring in your books after that.
Full school uniform to be worn, not the school tracksuit.
Lockers will be assigned on Thursday. Students can purchase a lock at the school office. €10 cash payable to the office as we do not have card payment facility.
Students will also receive their school journals on Thursday.
3rd and 6th Years:
You are in on Tuesday, 29th August – full school day 9 – 4.00pm. Full school uniform to be worn.
2nd, TY and 5th Years:
You are in on Wednesday, 30th August – full school day 9 – 3.20pm. Full school uniform to be worn.
All Year Groups:
Friday is a full school day 9 to 3.20pm for all year groups. Full school uniform to be worn.
Boil Water Notice
The school and surrounding areas are still under a boil notice.
Water fountains should not be used until further notice.
Please ensure your that son/daughter bring their own water to school with them. If they forget, water can be purchased at the tuck shop.
Tuck Shop
The school tuck shop will be open each day from 1.05 to 1.35pm. At present this is cash only, but we are looking into a card payment facility for the shop.
Canteen
The school canteen will be open for all students when you return to school. They operate a cash only system.
School Transport
School transport is run directly by Bus Eireann, please contact the school transport section of Bus Eireann for any queries about collection points and times, as we do not have that information in the school.
Buses will be running from next Tuesday, 29th August 2023.
