Our Junior A Girls Gaelic Football team were out on Monday against Rathkeale. Injuries and County commitments affected our numbers but the girls put in a valient performance led by captain Grace Hartigan. Conditions were calm for the first half, with the girls putting in a fantastic team effort to lead 1-03 to 1-02 at half time. The rain poured for the second half and we played against a strong gale. The backline pulled off some impressive blocks and Katelynn O’Dwyer had an outstanding goal. Rathkeale managed to pull away though with the game finishing 3-04 to 4-11. Well done girls on a great team performance.
