Congratulations to our TY students Hazel Walsh, Julianne Deegan and Lucja Wojciechowska on their Junk Kouture dress design ‘Contamination Cycle’ which was selected for the Junk Kouture 2022 grand final which took place last Thursday night in Dublin. This garment is handcrafted from discarded bicyle parts and organic materials and examines the issue of waste disposal in our local countrysides. Hazel, Julianne and Lucja are immensely grateful for the help and support they received along the way from school management, Mr. Geaney, Armelle, Evan and Mrs Lavan. Students from the school arrived in force to support the girls on the night of the final in Dublin and a fantastic night out was had by all.
