On Wednesday the 15th of November language students were visited by Katie McAuliffe from the University of Limerick and Aoife Woods who is studying European Studies with German.
This was an amazing opportunity for students to learn about language courses, language combinations, further study and employment opportunities as well as cooperative work placement and the Erasmus study abroad program.
Students got to hear first hand from Aoife what it was like to study languages at university, to travel abroad on your own, immersed in a new culture and language and create international relationships and contacts . They also learned about the many study supports available for students as they make the leap to university studies.
It was an excellent experience for all who attended and we can’t wait to invite them out again.
