When you wake up in the morning, don’t just jump out of bed to start the day, take time to be conscious of your body.
Become aware of your thoughts, observe them as they come and go. Letting them pass like clouds in the sky.
Focus on your breathing. Listen to sounds around you and stretch your whole body to awaken your muscles.
Make your bed mindfully to create a calm transition from sleep to the day ahead.
When washing your face, notice how the water energizes you.
It is also important to find a few m minutes in your morning routine to sit calmly instead of rushing to start the day’s activities.
Focus on your breathing and visualise each breath filling your body with golden light. You will feel strengthened and ready for the next day.
