There is a hive of activity taking place in the new Salesian Secondary College Eco Garden. Formally opened yesterday and named Bosco Eco Garden.
Well done to Fr John who was the impetus behind this initiative. Fr Vin, Fr Dom, Caitriona Maher and Fr Savio all contributed greatly to setting up this garden and we are very grateful to you.
This garden will be open to all students to participate. Our Ag Science students, Den students and teachers are already getting involved.
The opening of this garden coincides with Creation Week. In Ireland Creation Week is celebrated from 1 September to 4th October. It is a time of prayer, reflection and action to honor the Creator and to care for the gift of creation.
Well done to our students, teachers and resident priests!
