Pallaskenry Scout Group win County Shield!

A patrol from the Pallaskenry scout group won the Limerick county shield event in scouting last weekend in Curraghchase.

They were judged on Camp craft, cooking skills, first aid, map reading, setting up  bases and teamwork to name just a few areas.

5 of the patrol, Alice, Anton, Fardeen, Michaela and Lucia are students in our school. This competition was last won in 2008 by the local scout troop so was a great achievement! The leaders are all ex pupils and the next step is the national Phoenix competition which will be held in Copsewood in August.
