Today Clodagh Lenihan visited the school to present our members with their certificates of participation in the Young SVP programme. Clodagh paid tribute to the students for all the projects they successfully undertook during the year which included fundraising for SVP and Pallaskenry Senior Citizens, befriending of elderly residents in nursing homes, collecting toiletries for the local Limerick drop in centre as well as a food drive.
In April the students attended the annual Youth Day in the Radisson Blu hotel where they shared their work with like minded students from around the midwest region as well as partaking in educational activities.
Another hugely successful year for this group. Well done to all involved.
