Salesian Cycle Challenge – St Vincent de Paul Fundraiser – 3rd April

March 17, 2022

The 3rd Salesian Cycle Challenge will take place on Sunday 3rd April. This year the focus is on raising much needed funds for the upkeep and running of the
SVP Drop-In-Centre in Hartstonge Street in Limerick. This Centre provides numerous facilites including a Day Care facility for those who cannot access hostel accomodation, homeless people who are placed in in Bed and Breakfast accommodation but who have to vacate their rooms during the day and people living alone in need of companionship and other supports.

The organisation is working to develop a new Drop-In Centre with extra capacity this year, so all fundraising efforts are greatly appreciated. Currently they cater for 150 service
users every day.

The event consists of a 40 or 80km cycle beginning and ending at our school. If you would like to take part in the cycle, please register at https://eventmaster.ie/event/nrxPhplH0v

We are looking for volunteers to act as marshals to assist school staff, student and members of our Parents Association run the event.

If you can help, please email: salesianchallenge@salesiancollege.ie

The event is sponsored by Subway, local shops, the Hub, and many more!
