U-16 And A Half Footballers Accomplish Unfinished Business From Last Season

Our U16 and a half footballers from last season assembled one last time to complete an historic County Munster Double at this grade. The County Final took place in Rathkeale and our opponents were Colaiste Chiarain Croom. Our lads got off to a flying start and while we were wasteful at times in front of goal, our lads stormed home to victory on a 6-16 to 2-5 scoreline. Our captain, Peter Kiely lifted the cup with the help of his team mate, Oisin Hayes.
Well done to everyone involved including panel members and backroom team.
It’s days like this that will live long in the memory.
