Hard luck to our U16 Basketball Boys who were narrow defeated in the All Ireland Round of 16 today by Coláiste Mhuire Cobh. Once again the boys did not fail to entertain us. Flying out of the blocks in the first quarter and hitting some outrageous scores. Cobh fought their way back into game from the second quarter on and we knew we had a real battle on our hands. The boys gave it everything they had but unfortunately, it wasn’t to be. A performance and a season to be proud of once again from our boys. They are a credit to themselves, their families and their school. We will be back!! Well done and thanks to everyone for their commitment and hard work all year.
