Dear Parent / Guardian,
Students here are acutely aware of the suffering of families in Ukraine and surrounding lands at this time. Students are running fundraisers this week, to raise awareness and money to support those in need.
On Friday, there will be a Yellow and Blue Colours Day. All are invited to wear your Ukrainian national colours.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, donations are invited in exchange for ties of beautiful Kildimo grown daffodils, which will be available in school and at the 5th Year Parent Teacher Meeting, the 3rd and TY Parents’ evenings and in the carpark on Friday evening. All donations are welcome. Many thanks to Marion Maloney, Kildimo, and to McElligotts Coaches, for making this possible. And well done to students from Transition Year and 2nd Year Ita for putting in the work to make it happen.
In the meantime, collection of long life food items, clothing, medical supplies, equipment and personal hygiene products continues all week. Items can be left in RE Room or Bosco 3,4,5 and 6.
