Under 16.5 Football

Hard luck to the u16 and a half football team who lost out to Colaiste Ide agus Iosef Abbeyfeale on a score line of 2 14 to 2 7. The team put in a spirited second half but left themselves with too much to do after a first half where all breaks went with the opposition. Despite this, the team deserves huge credit for the manner in which they applied themselves, especially in the second half. No doubt the match will help the players as they embark on the new season with their clubs.
