Today our U19s Hurling team took on Hazelwood College in a Munster Semi-Final hosted by UL. They had a strong start with the first point of the match coming from a free from Seán Hartigan.The boys were ahead for the whole match with great scores coming from both play and frees. Before the first half ended Jamie Behan scored an excellent goal. Leading at half time by 2 points (1-7 to 1-5). In the second half the boys hit the ground running with an opening point from Hugh Maher, followed by an unstoppable goal from Paul O ‘Neill after running up the right wing after beating three defenders and scoring at a very difficult angle. Later in the game Barry Adams scored a very good goal to build up a strong lead.
