Wellbeing Guidelines 08/02/21

February 8, 2021

Hello Everyone. I hope we are all doing well. We are here at the week of midterm and no doubt you are all looking forward to a well-earned break. Remote learning is not easy so please be sure to have some time to yourself next week and make times to do fun things although in difficult circumstances.

Don’t forget our Art Competition which is currently running in all SPHE classes from first year to TY. We are eagerly awaiting your beautiful works of art.

Your SPHE Teacher will give you further details. All Entries to be in by Feb 12th.

COVID-19 Restrictions
The restrictions are hard on everyone but if we all do our part to try to suppress the Virus.
Continue to:
• Keep your distance.
• Wear a face covering.
• Wash your hands.
• Cover coughs and sneezes.
• Self-isolate if you have symptoms.

Wellbeing Tools
One of the things I have noticed about this pandemic is our ability to focus constantly on the negative. The Concept of flow is the ability to focus our mind completely on a particular task or thought giving us a welcome break from negative thoughts. Today I am including different activities to help us achieve FLOW in our lives.

More distractions
Escape away from your worries with these activities (see attached) that will help you to relax and unwind.

As always, if there is anyone having any issues, please contact your year head or Tutor who are happy to help.

Please keep an eye on the School App this week for the Wellbeing Initiatives – Mindful Monday, Workout Wednesday and Feel-Good Friday.

We hope you all have a lovely Midterm break and come back to us energised and full of positivity for the next half term.

Kind Regards
The Wellbeing Team
