I Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We at Salesian Secondary College are setting up a mini library in the school. We would use this resource in making reading an important part of the school culture where students can relax and read a book that is appropriate to their reading age.
With spring around the corner and tidying up after Christmas we would welcome reading books, comics and novels of all ages. These books would give us a wide range of material for students to find a book that caters for their needs. Reading books helps with comprehension and understanding of the material as well as helping to heighten students’ imagination, creativity and use of the English vocabulary.
Books can be left in Bosco 5.
So what can you do to help?
Send in any books that you no longer have space for with your children. We will gladly take any book that you might not want.
